Heroes and Villains

Anyone can mourn a hero, but only a hero can truly mourn a villain.

How right that is. Usually people despise villains, look down on them, and judge them for any atrocities they’ve committed. It’s not very common for people to stop and take a closer look or ask why or how a villain became the way they did.

Election Day Blues

Ever since Election Day, I’ve had the blues. The “feeling-unheard-ignored-isolated-so-how-can-i-become-a-writer-if-noone-cares-or-listens” blues.

I’ve had that feeling before but for some reason it came on stronger than usual this time. Like many, I went to Facebook to share my thoughts on the outcome of the election (which I was not happy with for many reasons) and what could have been done differently. Continue reading “Election Day Blues”
